Grant Programmes Powered by EGREG
EGREG’s story begins in 2009 with the launch of the EU-funded programme “Research, Development & Innovation Fund” (RDI) in Egypt. In its first incarnation, the platform enabled grantees to record expenditures and produce financial reports, while empowering the contracting authority to monitor progress and validate incoming reports.
In 2010, EGREG powered EuroMED Youth IV (the predecessor of Erasmus+). We enhanced the management module with new dashboards and reporting tools, and introduced an online proposal-submission workflow so applicants could complete and track their own applications in real time.
When the platform was deployed in Jordan under the “Support to Research, Technological Development and Innovation” project (SRTD II), both the application and management modules received targeted tweaks. Workflows were streamlined to fit local regulations, user roles were refined, and performance optimizations ensured smooth operation even under heavy loads.
A major milestone arrived in 2017, when JCP SRL – now ItDevConnect – (in consortium with ECORYS Polska) used EGREG to oversee the entire €95 million EEA & Norway Grants Fund (Youth Employment & Regional Cooperation). Between January 2017 and December 2024, we rolled out partner-matching tools, built-in online assessments for concept notes and full proposals, contracting workflows, results-oriented monitoring and a module to publish project outcomes as digital magazines.

In December 2019, Expertise France entrusted EGREG with the €4 million “Support to Social Protection Programme in Jordan.” From initial application through contracting, financial follow-up, audit and final closure, the platform now covers every step of the grant lifecycle.
